ABOUT THE ARIZONA TITANS

The Arizona Titans Youth Track Club is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for youth ages 4-18. This team competes in United States of America Track & Field (USATF) youth organization. This team was started by Walter Wallace and Fred Lux in 1998. This team was started as a mentorship and to be a positive outlet and alternative program for at-risk youth from the local neighborhoods and community. We teach the youth that they are student first, and athletes second. Each child maintains a GPA of 2.0 and better for eligibility to participate on the team. We give them the tools to have respect, perseverance, healthy eating habits, self control, self esteem, individual discipline, team work, strength and conditioning abilities, and fundamentals of track and field. All of which are proven to positively influence the youth. Our goal is to recognize that winning is not important, because ultimately every body is a winner. We always make sure to recognize the hard work and effort each child has put into this to make them a better person.

Accomplishments:
The Arizona Titans have reached the USATF Junior Olympics State, Regional, and National competitions every year since becoming an organization in 1998. Having kids travel from Tucson to Greensboro, NC, El Paso, TX, Sacramento, CA, Jacksonville, FL, and many more exciting places. Some of our athletes have even set state records in events. We have even had people on the podium at the National level, making them All Americans.
Once a Titan, ALWAYS a Titan
