This is one of the most common questions that are asked. As most of you know, we are a track and field club team from Tucson, Arizona. Most of our meets we are traveling to and from the Phoenix area every other week. With that being said, the questions most asked with parents are what do I pack? what is needed? etc. Here are a list of things to bring with you for track meets:

-TEAM uniform

-Running shoes

-Spikes

-Sweat suits (Athlete should be in these at the meet all the time until they are about to run)

-WATER - Please! PLEASE! Bring your athlete water. It is HOT in Phoenix so water IS a necessity.

-Fruit - Orange slices, apples, bananas, berries

-Snacks - Trail mix, pretzels, crackers, peanut butter. HEALTHY snacks. (Many parents bring a cooler filled with ice, water, and snacks), STAY AWAY FROM HIGH SUGAR AND FATS.

-Umbrella (That Phoenix sun is HOT!!)

-Tent (We typically have a camp area for every one to place their belongings)

-Bring extra clothes, socks, jacket, blanket

-Sunscreen

-Hat

-Medicine (Allergy, Ibuprofen, inhalers, etc)

-Folding chair, seat cushion

-Parents have brought toiletries to the meet just in case.

-To keep the kids entertained you can bring books, cards, games, homework, music, etc. (REMINDER: NO ELECTRONICS ON THE FIELD)

- Cash. There's a snack bar and depending on the meet there will be event t-shirts
